WE OFFER CUSTOM CLASSES AND PRIVATE CROPS!

Looking for a unique and fun way to have a shower or birthday party?  Give us a call and we'll discuss how we can be the next venue for your special event! 

We also do custom classes - choose what you want to learn or make, find a few friends and we'll schedule a date with you!  This also applies to crops--have a crop with all your friends and take over the store!  Crop fees are free, so what better way to spend time with your friends, than scrapbooking together!

Evening Events in Mount Joy, PA

We're a part of Main Street Mount Joy, so take advantage of the event and partake in our special for the evening!  Specials will vary and will be announced the week prior to the event and will be found in that week's Merchandiser.  Each month has a different theme, so we'll tailor our evening to the theme and sometimes we might even include a free make and take!  Visit www.mainstreetmountjoy.com to find out what other businesses in the Main Street District are offering.  You might just want to take a break from cropping and take a stroll down Main Street to do a little browsing, shopping and eating!

Actopus To Zelephant Album

Using K&Company’s “Actopus to Zelephant” line of papers and embellishments and a landscape chipboard album, we’ll create an adorable album that you can house your kids pictures in or memories of your grandchildren!  Also a great shower or new parent’s gift!  Class Cost   $27.00  Instructor:  Tobey Gable

Basic Grey Cards of the Month

Basic Grey, a favorite manufacturer of many, has designed a monthly card class program that limited stores can participate in and we are one of them!  Their Design Team has designed the cards, added papers and many embellishments, so we’ll make eight cards in class and you’ll take home instructions to make four more and will still have enough goodies left over to make a few more!  There will only be 12 kits to be had each month and it’s first-come-first serve!   There will be no kits available after the class unless the class does not fill up.   Class Cost   $25.00  Instructor:  Tobey Gable and Shirley Gillett

Bind-It-All Project

We’ll make a simple 8”x8” album (paper line TBD) and along with a “Display-It-All” stand, you’ll have a great showcase-able memory album that you will make yourself.  In this class, you’ll learn some of the basics of the Bind-It-All system to construct and bind your own album.   Class Cost:  $25.00  Instructor:  Tobey Gable

Bleached Cards

If you haven’t bleached cardstock before you will be amazed at how easy and beautiful these cards are and how they can be used for any occasion.  Without a doubt this is one of my favorite techniques for card making.  I will also be putting some dimension in these cards for the first time.  Class Cost $15.00  Instructor – Shirley Gillett

Blizzard Memories Explosion Box

Do you have lots of pictures of this winter’s snow?  We’ll make an explosion box using Websters Pages’ “Winter’s Wings” line to store the “chilly” memories from this year’s weather!  It will even have a mini accordion album for more picture storage inside.  Although this class is geared towards the Winter weather, you’ll find this line of papers may be appropriate for other themes, as well, and also makes a great gift!  Class Cost: $23.00  Instructor – Tobey Gable

Distressed Tags-Tim Holtz-Style Techniques!

Each month, we’ll make beautiful, tags great for gift giving or to keep for yourself just because you love them!  The reason for making tags is that they are finish-able projects, yet you’re learning many techniques that are timeless and useable on pages, altered books, and many other papercrafting projects.  Each month will feature different free products that may or may not be used in class, but for you to take home and add to your stash of Ranger/Ideology products to use on future projects. Don’t forget your Basic Tools and if you have any of the following, please bring them:  Distress Ink pads, Water Spray Bottle or Mini Misters, Heat/Embossing Gun, Non-Stick Craft Sheet, Glossy Accents. Class Cost: $25.00  Instructor:  Tobey Gable

Easter/Spring Folded Cards

Folded cards are always fun to make.  This class will include different styles of folded cards, beginning with a couple of Iris Folded Cards.  Then we will branch off into some different ways to fold cardstock and put a new “twist” into your cards. Class Cost: $15.00  Instructor – Shirley Gillett

“Family Matters” Album

Create a chipboard album dedicated to family memories.  The papers being used in this album give it a “heritage” style, yet the acrylic cover gives it an unusual twist.   Class Cost: $25.00  Instructor – Shirley Gillett

Glimmer Mist Cards

We’ll make several all-occasion cards using this glimmery mist.  If you have yet to use this product, this is the perfect class for you!  This mist is easy to use and the result is beautiful, stunning and shimmery!  Simple card projects, yet learn application techniques, using Glimmer Screens, chipboard use, etc.!  Class Cost: $20.00  Instructor – Tobey Gable

Intro To ATC’s

Have you seen the term “ATC” and wonder what it is? Artist Trading Cards are miniature works of art and are fun to make and trade with others.  If you are curious about them, then take this class and learn about them and make your first few cards!  With enough interest, we may just start our own ATC club here!  Class Cost $15.00  Instructor: Tobey Gable

 “It’s A Grid Thing”

Have you seen the layout samples we have in the store with photos being cut into different sizes and shapes and then reassembled to create a 2 page layout.  This technique is called mosaic scrapbooking.  I will warn you, once you learn to do this you will want to do more!  The cost of this class includes the tools to continue the process which are nearly equal to the cost of the class.  February’s theme will be Winter.  Class Cost $50.00  Instructor: Shirley Gillett

As before, anyone wishing to take the class as a refresher, or just for the sake of doing a new layout, may do so.  Cost $15

“Lavender and Lace” Flower Soft Class

This class will include an entire kit of flower soft products.  We will make several cards to show you different techniques using this relatively new product.  The kit includes two jars of flower soft, wires for making flowers and much more. This product can also be used on your scrapbook pages.  Stop by the store and check out our samples!  Class Cost: $28.00  Instructor – Shirley Gillett

Men’s Cards

I always hear that men’s cards are difficult to make, so with our new line of paper called “A Perfect Gentlemen” we will solve this problem.  These cards will be appropriate for any occasion.  Class Cost $15.00  Instructor – Shirley Gillett

Monochromatic Layout

Bring 4-6 photos to these basic classes and complete a 2-page layout centered around a specific color scheme.  March’s colors will be a blue theme  and April will be pink.  Class Cost:  $10.00  Instructor:  Shirley Gillett

Nook and Pantry Recipe Album

We’ll decorate and fill a 9”x9” Bo Bunny Naked Chipboard Album with fabulously-decorated chipboard tab-pages to house your favorite, yummy recipes!  Using Basic Grey’s “Nook and Pantry” line of papers and embellishments, you’ll have a great album to keep for yourself or give as a gift to hand down family recipes or get a new bride’s recipe collection started!  Class Cost $28.00  Instructor:  Tobey Gable

Pixie Stix Cards

Nope, not what you kids of the 70’s and 80’s are thinking—this is not a card-making class using powdered candy in a tube, but using glitter in a tube!  Make several cards using glitter to make them sparkly and fun!  Class Cost:  $17.00  Instructor:  Tobey Gable

Midnight Crops - come use our space, enjoy the company of others and the inspiration and ideas around you – all day until Midnight!  No fee and all we ask is that you reserve your space ahead of time.

Private Crops

Our private crops are becoming popular!  Ask us about scheduling your own and gather your friends and family for exclusive use of our crop room and it’s amenities.  If you are looking for a fun retreat, we can help you plan a weekend away.  We have a Bed and Breakfast right across the street.  If you’re interested, give us a call or send us an email for help in planning your next retreat!

Specialty Classes

Groups, Girl Scout Troops, School projects, or just a group of friends——we can provide the space and instruction for you!  Wedding showers and baby showers can also be accommodated.  Grab at least three friends and we can schedule something special for you (even just a class that you want only you and your friends to attend)!

Crop Room Details—We have rubber stamps, paints, foam stamps, punches, tools, Sizzix, templates, and more!  Enjoy the space, socialization and inspiration!   Crop Fee is FREE!!!  Midnight Crops are also FREE!!

Class Reservation/Cancellation—To reserve space at a class or event, we require pre-payment of your class fee.  If you cancel at least 48 hours prior to the class or event, we can apply your fee to another class or refund your fee, or you may choose to take the kit and utilize our crop room to complete it on your schedule.  Class or event fees on cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the class or event are non-refundable.  Classes are subject to cancellation due to lack of enrollment or inclement weather.  The class will be rescheduled or your class fee refunded  in these cases.
