WE OFFER CUSTOM CLASSES AND PRIVATE CROPS!

Looking for a unique and fun way to have a shower or birthday party?  Give us a call and we'll discuss how we can be the next venue for your special event! 

We also do custom classes - choose what you want to learn or make, find a few friends and we'll schedule a date with you!  This also applies to crops--have a crop with all your friends and take over the store!  Crop fees are free, so what better way to spend time with your friends, than scrapbooking together!

DON’T FORGET! If you are coming to a class or crop, please bring along the following basic supplies with you:

12" trimmer         

Adhesive (both wet and dry--Scotch's Quick Dry Glue is our favorite, and any tape runner will work for your dry adhesive

Pen/Pencil

Ink pads for inking edges.  (Brown and black are basics, or you can bring ink colors that coordinate with the project you'll be doing)

If the class is a QuicKutz-related class or QClub Gathering, if you own them please bring your Squeeze and/or Revolution tools with you for your own use. 

If you find you have forgotten a supply, don't worry, we have them for sale in our store!  Thank you for remembering you supplies!

Evening Events in Mount Joy, PA

We're a part of Main Street Mount Joy, so take advantage of the event and partake in our special for the evening!  Specials will vary and will be announced the week prior to the event and will be found in that week's Merchandiser.  Each month has a different theme, so we'll tailor our evening to the theme and sometimes we might even include a free make and take!  Visit www.mainstreetmountjoy.com to find out what other businesses in the Main Street District are offering.  You might just want to take a break from cropping and take a stroll down Main Street to do a little browsing, shopping and eating!

Distress 101 With Ranger

learn techniques for cardmaking and scrapbooking using Ranger Distress products, including Adirondack Inks, Distress Ink Pads, and Tim Holtz’s Masks.  You’ll make elements and tags to use for future reference or on projects.  A Distress Ink pad will be given to you to use in class and keep to begin building your distress supplies!

Distressing Workshop with Mini Album

You’ll learn distress techniques with Distress Inks, Distress Powders, Distress Crackle paints and Distress Stickles.  You’ll not only learn methods of application, but you’ll also be making a fabulous mini album made of coasters and acrylic pages using the techniques and products you’ve learned about in this workshop!  Beverages and a snack will be provided.

Embellishing With QuicKutz

Did you just recently get the QuicKutz Squeeze or Revolution?  Want to know how to use it and what to do with your die cuts?  This class is for you!  We’ll “jazz” up some die cuts, make some page toppers, all for you to take home and use on your current projects!  You’ll receive a free SingleKutz die with this class to add to your new collection!

Family Heritage Scrapbooking

This is an information gathering meeting to determine if we have enough interest to organize a monthly class dedicated to the art of “heritage scrapbooking”.  Come to this meeting and hear what my thoughts are for this project.   This is something I have wanted to start for a long time and thought maybe the new year is a good time to move forward with this idea.

Glimmer Mist 101

Want to know what this shimmery spray is all about and what you’ll use it on?  This is the class for you!  Be prepared for a messy, glimmery, fun time making tags and a couple of cards to learn the techniques of application!  You’ll get your very own bottle of Glimmer Mist to get you started!

"Moments To Remember" Lunch Bag Album

We’ll take several black lunch bags and Dream Street’s “Remember The Moments” line of papers to create a beautiful, vintage-looking mini album filled with pockets and pull-outs.  Makes a great gift!

Monochromatic Designed Layout

How often do you hear “less is more” and wonder is that really true?  Well, in this class we will do a two page layout using monochromatic colors.  You will also learn how to use Bo Bunny’s flexible ruler to create a unique look.

Mosaic Layout Class

If you are new to this technique, you will receive, as part of the class, all of the tools necessary to go forward and create your own mosaic designs.  It really is a simple process that initially sounds and looks complicated. Local winter scenes will be used for this class.  Class Cost $45

For those of you who have already taken the basic class and would like a refresher,  or simply want to take the class to make this new layout, the fee will be $15.

QuicKutz Layout

For those of you who are newcomers to the QuicKutz world, or even those who are veterans, you’ll enjoy this class using several different dies in different sizes to make a two-page layout ready for your pictures!

Snowflake Layout With Technique Tuesday

You’ll learn ink application techniques using the Technique Tiles along with glossing some of the tiles to make them stand out to create this unique and pretty layout to display Winter photos.  We’ll be using the “No Two Alike” clear stamp set to embellish our snowflakes and 12x12 page tiles.

Stamped Valentine Cards

We will use a variety of stamps from different companies to create these cards.  There will be several different techniques involved, and of course at least one card will be “glittified”!

Thank You Cards

Make 10 cards (5 different designs) using cardstock and patterned paper.  Use these cards to take care of those holiday thank-you notes that you want to get in the mail before it slips your mind!

Winter's Memories Acrylic Album

Acrylic is a fantastic surface for decorating to house our Winter pictures!  We’ll use several mediums on an 8x8 acrylic album to replicate the shimmery and snowy looks of Winter.  Your album will be ready to insert pictures from this year’s winter frolics or from years past!

Winter Wonderland Album

This project will be made using a Melissa Frances chipboard album in combination with a line of paper from Cosmo Cricket called Wonderland.  This album will have an “old fashioned” feel as this is the nature of this line of paper.

Private Crops

Our private crops are becoming popular!  Ask us about scheduling your own and gather your friends and family for exclusive use of our crop room and it’s amenities.  If you are looking for a fun retreat, we can help you plan a weekend away.  We have a Bed and Breakfast right across the street.  If you’re interested, give us a call or send us an email for help in planning your next retreat!

Specialty Classes

Groups, Girl Scout Troops, School projects, or just a group of friends——we can provide the space and instruction for you!  Wedding showers and baby showers can also be accommodated.  Grab at least three friends and we can schedule something special for you (even just a class that you want only you and your friends to attend)!

Crop Room Details—We have rubber stamps, paints, foam stamps, punches, tools, Sizzix, templates, and more!  Enjoy the space, socialization and inspiration!   Crop Fee is FREE!!!  Midnight Crops are also FREE!!

Class Reservation/Cancellation—To reserve space at a class or event, we require pre-payment of your class fee.  If you cancel at least 48 hours prior to the class or event, we can apply your fee to another class or refund your fee, or you may choose to take the kit and utilize our crop room to complete it on your schedule.  Class or event fees on cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the class or event are non-refundable.  Classes are subject to cancellation due to lack of enrollment or inclement weather.  The class will be rescheduled or your class fee refunded  in these cases.
